Schisandra
Schisandra is a twining shrub which is widespread in the temperate forests of Central China. It grows in the wild.
Local impact
The schisandra berries are picked traditionally, by hand, by local inhabitants from surrounding villages, creating sustaining jobs for several hundred people.
