"We super love this product! The smell, the smoothness it leaves my child’s skin, ingredients and simply everything about it. Still using it for my baby since newborn, she’s 22 months old now. :hands_heart_medium_skin_tone:🤍"
"bought the Mustela Gentle Cleansing Gel because it is marketed for babies and even newborns. I have actually had this product since my daughter was born, but I mainly used it as a backup whenever I couldn’t find her regular baby soap. My daughter is now 16 months old and has always loved bath time. Recently, she started crying intensely whenever it was time for a bath and would even have breath-holding spells. I couldn’t understand what had changed because she used to enjoy baths so much. Yesterday, I finally realized what might be causing the problem. After washing her body, she accidentally touched her eyes with soap residue on her hands. She immediately started crying and had another breath-holding episode. It made me think that when I wash her hair and rinse it, some of the product may be getting into her eyes and causing discomfort. To confirm my suspicion, I tested the product on myself by washing my face and allowing a small amount to get into my eyes. My eyes burned noticeably. I understand that no soap feels good directly in the eyes, but for a product marketed specifically for babies and newborns, I expected it to be much gentler and truly tear-free. Looking back, I believe this may have been the reason my daughter suddenly began dreading bath time whenever I used this product. I am very disappointed and will be switching to another product. I would not recommend this for parents looking for a genuinely tear-free baby wash."
"have used this soap for years with my two kids. no issues at all. no crying because of burning"
"I tried this because the scent was described as “delicate”, but I found the scent quite strong; enough to give me a slight headache. I wish I had gone with the unscented version for babies with eczema."
"My baby has been using this since the day she was born. Absolutely the best"
"My go-to for my twins. Gentle enough for eczema and smells so good!"
"Have used this on my kids since birth 2 years in and they love it as do I!"
