Diaper Rash
Practical advice for preventing and caring for
severe diaper rash
- Change your baby's diaper regularly, especially in the presence of stools.
- Rinse baby's bottom with warm water and a non-irritant product.
- Gently dab the skin dry, paying special attention to skin folds.
- Always apply a preventive cream with zinc oxide to create a protective barrier between the skin and the contents of the diaper.
- From time to time, take off baby's diaper to allow the skin of the buttocks to breathe.

Cradle Cap
Practical advice to prevent cradle cap
- Brush baby's hair every day with a soft brush.
- Delicately massage baby's scalp every day when you wash his/her hair (there is no point in rubbing excessively because the shampoo for cradle cap takes effect within a matter of seconds. Just work up lather and rinse thoroughly).
- Ideally, use a gentle shampoo specially formulated to prevent cradle cap.
Practical advice in caring for cradle cap:
- Do not be tempted to remove it with your fingers.
- Apply the product in the evening and let it work overnight for optimal efficacy. The next day, comb the hair to remove any soft flakes.
- Wash baby's hair with your usual shampoo or cleanse affected areas of the face with your usual cleansing product.
- When should you consult a pediatrician?
Consult your doctor if you notice a substantial accumulation of cradle cap or if skin seems inflamed or infected: the skin or scalp will take on a bright red and/or oozing appearance. Also seek medical advice if there is no improvement after a few weeks of use. For more information we recommend that you ask your healthcare professional for advice. He will be able to recommend the most appropriate product for your needs.
